Sessions

45-50 minute sessions will allow us to discuss anything on your mind.  Over time we will uncover themes and patterns that seem to resurface in your various experiences.  You will lead and I will follow.  You decide what we talk about and what we don't.  I'll guide our sessions with your feedback.  Our goal is to have you reach outside your comfort zone but never be in pain.

What You Can Expect

  • Focus on the whole of you - your safety, your health, your support system, your stressors and your joys
  • Non-judgmental, quiet space to say especially the things you can't easily say
  • When you are ready and feeling more stable, exploring ways to add more joy and meaning to your life
  • Initial session will include intake paperwork and you will set the goals for our work together
  • Feeling better usually within 3 months of weekly sessions
  • Depending on your wishes, most work will be completed within 1-2 years
  • No topic is taboo
  • Referrals will be made when requested
  • No insurance needed
  • For therapy in NJ: In-network with NJ BCBS, United, and Cigna; Sliding scale and out-of-network services available
  • Video-conferencing or phone sessions are available (if clinically appropriate)
  • Walk and Talk sessions on nature trails available weather permitting (if clinically appropriate)
  • Coaching contracts available per session, per month or per goal
  • Coaching sessions available internationally in English
