50 minute sessions will allow us to discuss anything on your mind.  Over time we will uncover themes and patterns that seem to resurface in your various experiences.  You will lead and I will follow.  You decide what we talk about and what we don't.  I'll guide our sessions with your feedback.  Our goal is to have you reach outside your comfort zone but never be in pain.

What You Can Expect

  • Focus on the whole of you - your safety, your health, your support system, your stressors and your joys

  • Non-judgmental, quiet space to say especially the things you can't easily say

  • When you are ready and feeling more stable, explore ways to add more joy and meaning to your life

  • Initial session will include intake paperwork and you will set the goals for our work together

  • Feel better usually within 3 months of weekly sessions (symptom reduction or referral to higher level of care)

  • Depending on your wishes, most work will be completed within 6 months to 2 years

  • No topic is taboo

  • Referrals will be made when requested

  • No insurance needed

  • In-network provider with BCBS, United, Cigna, and Medicare for psychotherapy;

  • Out-of-network provider for most insurance companies

  • Video-conferencing or phone sessions are available (if clinically appropriate)

  • Psychotherapy available for any resident of NY and NJ

  • Coaching contracts available per session, per month or per goal

  • Coaching sessions available internationally in English
