In courage and in love, we can live out loud.
Through all the fears - fears of failure, fears of abandonment, fears of judgement, fears of success, fears of the unknown - it is hope that carries us through. When we are doing “good enough” and we give of our time and patience to another, then we give the world to them.
When we need support, it might take courage but it’s worth it, to ask for help. To ask for support is saying we are in this together and what I have I will share with you if you share with me what you have to give.
Times are hard. There is no denying. Divisiveness, hate and an “us vs. them” mindset has spread through most communities. But in one on one exchanges, we can see that while we all have different stories, we are all saying the same thing. When we gather in groups with joy, then we heal.
It is possible and maybe even mandatory to connect, to love, to see others beyond the surface - beyond the persona and the masks of self protection - to be seen. Have a good cry or scream or a very long moment of silence, and then reach out. And don’t give up until you find someone who is ready and willing to reach back.
Find your peace of mind. Culitivate your joy. In this moment, we are here. Together.
