The link is real and well-documented; it's just not yet a fully closed case.
Breaking the Cycle
The encouraging news is that the same pathway that can work against you can also work in your favor. Several evidence-supported strategies help lower both stress and inflammation simultaneously:
Prioritize sleep. Poor sleep is both a cause and consequence of inflammation. Aiming for consistent, quality sleep helps regulate cortisol and immune function.
